Who we are

Founded in 2008, we are an international group of like minded individuals that push the DCS simulator to the boundaries of realism for which it was intended. From our extensive training programs and organized events, to our relentless pursuit of becoming better virtual pilots, the 1st VFW is built for the experienced DCS pilot looking to be challenged.

What we do

Utilizing real world manuals and our active and retired military pilots, we’ve worked hard to create a “close to real life” atmosphere while still vying to maintain the fun aspects of simply enjoying a simulation title among friends. Our group started as a Falcon 4.0: BMS wing and has since transitioned to DCS.

When we do it

In addition to our ongoing training programs for new and experienced DCS pilots, we host weekly standard flights for both North American and European timezones. We run 24/7 persistent missions on our dedicated servers in addition to the weekly single flight events.  If you are looking for a flight with other experienced pilots, the 1st VFW is for you.
