Welcome to the 1st Virtual Fighter Wing. We're an internet based Falcon 4.0 squadron comprised of individuals from all over the globe that are committed to providing a fun and stable multiplayer environment for flying Falcon 4.0. The 1st Virtual Fighter Wing was founded in 2008 and has seen explosive growth since then. With over 5,000 multiplayer hours logged in our first year, we've quickly grown into one of the largest and most active virtual wings in the community, and we're still growing...
The 1st VFW distinguishes itself from other virtual fighter wings by being a completely democratic organization. All wing decisions are decided by our members, including the flight simulators we fly. Currently we support both Open Falcon and Falcon 4.0: Allied Force. All of our members have access to a wing dedicated server for both OF and AF. The server enables us to host large online flights and F4 community wide training exercises and competitions. Furthermore, we are dedicated to improving the simulators we fly, by creating mods and new features that we share with our members.
